Alexandr Kosolapov

Alexandr Kosolapov is named as an example of russian social art. He is still working in USA and all this works have the social undertone. Of course, an incident with his work which was destroyed by unknown crazy lover of God, gives a lot of success for the Kosolapov.

The social resonance is only criterion of the success.

In his posters there is the mixture of the sides of our life. He use the force of the history of our country plus social force of the faith in God. And he successfully mixed this strong side of our mind this the mass market.
However there were better text but it was destroyed.
I like the media he use, the posters looks so good on the street. As for me his sculptures are a very 'heavy' but i like such kind of dissonance.
